The 2017 International Game Developers Association Satisfaction Survey states only one percent of professionals within the industry identify as Black. While Black developers have been in the industry since the beginning of video games, there is an apparent lack of representation. We've compiled a small list of Black video game developers and gamers to check out and support. ⠀

In Columbus, is a local video game company co-founded by Kwesi Christian () and Nick Monnin-Allen (). Their team is currently developing a Black and African inspired RPG, Zakumba: Episode Astraia, following the thrilling adventures of a young Black female mechnical genius named Astraia. ⠀

This week marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration on MENTAL HEALTH between One Asian Nation winners, Sean Dupiano and Angela Chen, Asian American Association at The Ohio State University and Pan Asian Mental Wellness Association!

💚 We are delighted to announce a special collaboration with One Asian Nation 2019 winners, Sean and Angela, Asian American American (AAA) and Pan-Asian Mental Wellness (PMWA) from The Ohio State University to open up conversation on MENTAL HEALTH. 💚

During the week of Nov. 18 to 22, these organizations will be hosting events to discuss the intersections between mental health and art in the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) community. Cosmic Collectives is excited to join them in their effort to bring awareness to mental health for the Asian American community.
