WhatBin Wednesday: Eggshells

🌿 Bin: Organics (Green)

Eggshells go in the green bin. Eggshells break down well in compost. Just toss them in with your other food scraps. Avoid putting them in the trash, as they’re perfect for enriching compost.

Today we honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage of the first responders who ran toward danger to protect others.

We will never forget the people who didn’t make it home that day, nor the countless families forever changed.

In the days following the attacks, personnel from CDF (now CAL FIRE) deployed to New York to assist in recovery efforts, standing shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in the fire service from across the nation.

Twenty-four years later, we remain committed to the same legacy of service, sacrifice, and resilience.
