We DNA test all our breeding cavaliers and do all testing for heart, eyes, patella and hips. We work very closely with our Vet to insure your puppy is healthy. Your puppy sees our Vet three times before leaving. We are very proud of our program and the health record of our cavaliers.

AS A BREEDER I FIND THESE KINDS OF POSTS REALLY OFFENSIVE -This is Why!!

Buyers who request a pup immediately - This worries me as it’s hard to gage just how long they have been looking or researching, infact the fact that they are posting seeking a puppy tells me they have done no research into the breed or breeders at all. Is this pup being bought on a whim?

The poster states they have a limited budget and looking for a breeder who isn’t all about the money - I appreciate everyone has a budget but Really!! Anyone who has never bred a litter really has no idea what it takes and the investment made by breeders to produce a litter of pups successfully. Let along the emotional investnent by an ethical breeder who loves and cares deeply about their breeding girls. I also then would question what kind of funds the buyer would have for incidentals like emergency vet bills etc. if that was to occur.

And so I post this to my followers as a way to educate a little more about how not to look for a puppy and what not to say to any prospective ethical and caring breeder.
