Coydog is finally home. 🥹

For those who are new here…

This is my husband’s Procharged 2013 F-150, affectionately known as Coydog. 😈

Back in October 2025, it dropped the engine. We sourced a donor motor, but as anyone who’s built a vehicle knows, nothing ever goes exactly to plan. 😅

More hurdles popped up, so in March 2026 it had to head back out for more repairs.

Today (August 7th), he’s finally home. 💪

We’re almost ready to let Coydog eat. 💨🏁

Just need to reinstall the inner guards, give him a much needed bath, and it’ll be time to turn up the boost again. 😈☢️

It’s been a long road… but we can’t wait to see this truck back where it belongs.

Little backstory…

We listen and we don’t judge. 🖤

At the Pennington Bros. SuperBucks Showdown over the 4th of July weekend at Xtreme Raceway Park, we ran into problem after problem. 🫠

Turns out the entire fuel system needed replacing. 😅

New smaller fuel cell. New -8 lines. New regulator. New filter. Rebuilt carb. New water pump… the works.

But she’s finally back together, ready to make some noise again, and get back to being a 7.7-second car. 🔥

Those 8.4-second time slips are staying in the past. 🤣
Big thanks to my darling husband for sweating out the 100°F+ fixing it (an cussing 🤬 it out 🤣)
Expensive lesson… but we’ll be back once it’s not 100°F+ outside. 💜🏁
