Every time I eat—even just a little something—my belly acts like I threw a whole Thanksgiving dinner in there.
“Eventually, after I go to the bathroom, rest a little, drink some water, and... well, release everything, it goes down. But it’s this cycle. Over and over.”

It was supposed to be a magical family trip—Broadway shows, Christmas lights, memories. But while Nate and I were out, our son made a choice that still shakes me.
“He met a man he barely knew, lied about being 18, and took a subway ride straight into the Bronx—alone, nervous, and too proud to turn back.”

But before I knew it, we were knee-deep in something raw and real.

Loving your child when it’s easy is one thing.
Loving them when you’re scared, confused, or unsure—that’s the test.
