CALLING ALL THOSE THAT BELIEVE

As we begin a new year, I am asking our entire Barber-Scotia family and extended community to join me in something deeply intentional and powerful.

On January 4, I invite you to stand with us in a day of fasting and prayer for Barber-Scotia College. As we step into 2026, I believe this is the moment to pause, reflect, and place our institution fully in God’s hands.

We have come a long way, and there is still important work ahead. This fast is not about what we give up, but about what we are believing God to release clarity, provision, healing, protection, favor, and open doors for our students, faculty, staff, and this historic institution.

I am believing that if we start the year with God at the center, He will show up in ways we cannot orchestrate on our own.

If you are able, please join us in fasting between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and take time throughout the day to pray for Barber-Scotia College its mission, its people, and its future.

This Christmas season, we pause with grateful hearts. Grateful for our students who continue to believe in their dreams. Grateful for our faculty and staff whose dedication keeps hope alive. Grateful for our alumni, donors, churches, and friends who have stood with Barber-Scotia through every season.

Christmas reminds us that light shines brightest in moments of waiting, and hope is born even in the most humble places. At Barber-Scotia College, that hope lives in every classroom, every prayer lifted, and every student who dares to believe in a brighter future.

As we close out this semester, our hearts are full of gratitude and pride. 💙
This has been a season of renewal, resilience, and remarkable progress at Barber-Scotia College.

We welcomed students back to campus, restored traditions, strengthened academics, expanded athletics, and continued the hard, but holy work of rebuilding an institution with a 158-year legacy. None of this happened by accident. It happened because you believed, you showed up, and you invested in our students and our future.

Every classroom moment, every practice, every breakthrough reminds us that Barber-Scotia is not just coming back, we are RISING.

As we look ahead to the upcoming semester, we do so with momentum, optimism, and a clear vision: more opportunities for students, continued campus revitalization, and a stronger foundation for generations to come.
