Happy Chinese New Year, friends! A little red and some oranges from our own backyard, what a better way to celebrate the start of the lunar year.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have married and getting to bring both Chinese and Italian culture into my very Latin life. I am thrilled to think of one day growing our family and being able to teach our kind a colorful way of living and celebrating.

One of my favorite things that came with the house. 1962 Absjorn-Mobler A/S modern lamp straight from Copenhagen, Denmark.

When it comes to art, I learned that it’s always good to move it around. Every year or two we find ourselves moving artwork around and swapping locations for certain pieces. We sometimes we get so used to seeing the same thing in the same location that it almost starts to become invisible. The minute you place it somewhere you haven’t seen it before, it’s like you are reintroduced to it and see it in a new light. It’s a very nice feeling. Like an old friend you haven’t seen in a long while. Give a try! Let me know what you think!

Our home is filled with color, but our bedroom not so much. We keep a simple, quiet and serene place to retreat at the end of a busy day. One that is peaceful and allows us to recharge and that feels like a blank slate at the start of the day.
