Go Red for Women, New Hampshire! ❤️ 🫀

The American Heart Association has named Dr. Matthew Gibb–chief clinical officer and cardiologist at Concord Hospital Health System–as chair of the 2026 Go Red for Women campaign in New Hampshire.

The campaign will culminate at the NH Go Red for Women Luncheon on February 12, 2026. It will feature workshops, screenings, and hands-only CPR demos. 🧑‍⚕️

Two Canobie Lake Park Rides Temporarily Closed ⚠️

A weekend of Halloween fun at Canobie Lake Park turned serious when two rides experienced separate technical issues a week apart.

No injuries were reported, and both incidents were unrelated. 🎢

The park says safety systems worked as designed and that both attractions remained closed while maintenance reviews were completed. ✅

From Healing Garden to Lavender Haven 🌿

Lavender Fields Pumpkin Blossom Farm in Warner is home to over 10,000 lavender plants—all lovingly hand-harvested by the family behind the dream.

Co-owner Missy Biagiotti was inspired while caring for her sister during cancer treatment sharing, “I could see the field in my mind and knew it could bring the same healing benefits to many.” 💜

Today, the farm offers numerous events, classes, products, and a peaceful escape for thousands of visitors each summer. Rooted in history, built on purpose, and growing with love — this is more than a farm. It’s a sanctuary.

The New Hampshire Marathon Returns! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

For more than 30 years, runners have discovered one of New England’s best-kept secrets along the shores of Newfound Lake. This year’s race is set for Saturday, October 4, 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. in Bristol, NH.

Numerous race options will be available including: Full Marathon (Boston qualifier), Half Marathon, 10K, and a Kid’s Marathon (final mile on race day!) 🏁

Proceeds help benefit three local nonprofits that make a lasting impact. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Honoring Over 30 Years of Service in Concord 🎉

The Capital Region Food Program proudly recognizes longtime volunteer Charlie Bristol, who has been inducted into the Mark E. Manus Honor Society for his extraordinary commitment to fighting hunger in Greater Concord. 🥫

From helping pack holiday food baskets in the early ’90s to serving 30 years on the Board of Trustees—and now lending his IT expertise—Charlie’s leadership and compassion continue to shape CRFP’s mission and impact.
