This December The Lake Estate on Winnisquam will welcome guests for a three course, farm to table holiday dinner led by Chef Chris Viaud.

The evening will feature seasonal New England ingredients, shared tables, and conversations with the chefs about the inspiration behind each dish. 🥘

Angel Trees Are Back in New Hampshire 🎄🎁

The Salvation Army and Walmart have hosted The Angel Tree program for more than 40 years. It helps provide clothing, toys, and essentials to children across the country.

You can take part by choosing an Angel tag in select Walmart stores or by shopping online through Walmart’s Spark Good Registry.

Current registries in across NH show hundreds of children still waiting to be matched. Even one purchase can help close the gap. 🧸

The NHSPCA’s Auction for the Animals returns! 🐶🐱

This annual event brings together supporters who want to make a real impact for animals across NH.

Go Red for Women, New Hampshire! ❤️ 🫀

The American Heart Association has named Dr. Matthew Gibb–chief clinical officer and cardiologist at Concord Hospital Health System–as chair of the 2026 Go Red for Women campaign in New Hampshire.

The campaign will culminate at the NH Go Red for Women Luncheon on February 12, 2026. It will feature workshops, screenings, and hands-only CPR demos. 🧑‍⚕️

Two Canobie Lake Park Rides Temporarily Closed ⚠️

A weekend of Halloween fun at Canobie Lake Park turned serious when two rides experienced separate technical issues a week apart.

No injuries were reported, and both incidents were unrelated. 🎢

The park says safety systems worked as designed and that both attractions remained closed while maintenance reviews were completed. ✅

Lavender Fields Pumpkin Blossom Farm in Warner is home to over 10,000 lavender plants—all lovingly hand-harvested by the family behind the dream.

Co-owner Missy Biagiotti was inspired while caring for her sister during cancer treatment sharing, “I could see the field in my mind and knew it could bring the same healing benefits to many.” 💜
