Kairos Prison Ministry - Discovering Jesus Behind Prison Walls!
IHM Parishioners Scott Fitzpatrick and David Dufault are serving on the Men's Kairos Prison Ministry Team #74 from Oct. 16-20, 2025.

There are several ways you can support this ministry:
1) Be a Prayer Partner: Dedicate prayer time for the residents, the Kairos team. Consider signing up for one or more half-hour blocks of the 24-hour vigil from Thursday afternoon Oct. 16 to Sunday afternoon Oct. 20. You can sign up for prayer times at: https://www.prayervigils.net/vigil.php?

2) Create Prayer Chain strips and Placemats: Please use markers or colored pencils ONLY. Please, NO stickers, glitter, glue, paint, or use of crayons. If signed, give first name ONLY, and adding an age is optional for children. Blanks strips and placemats are available in the Kairos Agape box downstairs in the IHM Hall. Complete and return to the Agape box by October 9th.

3) Financial Support: A Kairos weekend event costs $125 per participant and team member, and there are 24 participants. Checks payable to Kairos NH can be mailed to Scott Fitzpatrick, 83 Hooksett Turnpike, Concord NH 03301. Donate at: https://www.mykairos.org/fundraising

This gathering is designed to foster strong, healthy married relationships and communication. The focus will be on exploring what it means to love (active giving) and be loved (active receiving). As always, we will also explore scripture in this calling within our sacrament - “We love because he first loved us”.

Laudato Si’ is an encyclical published by Pope Francis in 2015, emphasizing the crucial need to “care for our common home, ” focusing on the environment and the interconnectedness of all life; urging a moral, Catholic response to these challenges.
Julia Steed Mawson and others from the NH Chapter of the Laudato Si movement will present on this topic.
Parishioners from Christ the King Parish will also speak on starting a Laudato Si Circle in their community.

With his many years of experience, musical talent, and heart for ministry, Chris Brunelle has become a well-known and respected leader in Catholic music ministry both in his hometown of Portland, Oregon and now throughout the world as the result of his YouTube channel. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Chris started playing guitar in church as a fourth grader and was leading a parish choir by the time he was 16 years old. He is currently the music director at his home parish, Holy Family Catholic Church in Portland, a role he has held for 29 years.

43rd Annual Scout Retreat!!!
For All Scouts (Boys & Girls) in grades 6-12, and adult leaders.
Fri. Sept. 12 – Sun. Sept. 14, 2025
at Camp Fatima in Gilmanton Iron Works NH.
Cost: $25 per scout; $15 per adult.
This Retreat is very active like a Camporee, involving scouts in a number of fun, interesting, challenging, thought provoking and faith filled activities! It includes a climbing wall, high ropes, capture the flag, and a dance! Scouts of all faiths are welcome!
For many Scouts, this is their favorite weekend of the year!
