Fire Weather Watch in place as temps rise into triple digits this week. Gusty winds are forecast with winds into the teens and 20’s. This coupled with dry conditions makes for great fire danger as even the smallest ignition can spread rapidly.

A Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity is in effect Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening for the lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Washington.

👕 Wear lightweight, breathable clothes
💧 Drink plenty of fluids
🧴 Apply (and reapply!) sunscreen
🚫 Skip the heavy lifting during peak heat

Know the warning signs and take breaks when needed. Your health comes first! 💙
