The band is playing and cheerleaders are warming up for the annual game were the Connell Eagles face off with the Othello Husky’s - the crowd is filtering in to cheer on both teams!

On 9-11 remembrance and the national day of service- Connell High School’s new service club met…can’t wait to see what great things they do!

The 'Just Serve' club kicked off its first meeting today in Mrs. Johnson's room! Fantastic attendance! Excited to see the difference this club will make on campus and in the community! Huge thanks to Kensi Klingler and Emersyn Perkins for their leadership in launching this club!

*** Update***
Our initial post was never meant to alarm anyone, and we realize we could have explained that more clearly. We simply wanted to let you know that we were aware of the situation after hearing from several concerned community members. To be clear, the individual did not do anything unlawful. They were exercising their rights while carrying the firearm legally and have since gone home.

We are aware of and monitoring a gentleman walking down Columbia Avenue with a rifle slung over his back. At this time, he has not committed any crimes. We understand the concerns and sensitivity surrounding this matter, and we will continue to monitor the situation.
