We're a small indie film production company, dedicated to delivering high-quality, exciting genre-centric movies that will ENTERTAIN audiences.

Now, what do we mean "genre-centric"? It's simple: anything that can fall outside of what is considered "mainstream", i.e. HORROR, SCI-FI, etc. with emphasis on HORROR. Horror is definitely where our bread and butter is, so we intend to make our first spate of films to be HORROR. The first film under the FIRST WEEK OF WINTER FILMS banner is the Amazon Best Selling slasher flick PICKAXE, starring

Tiffany Shepis and Michael Baldwin (Phantasm). Future projects include CANNIBAL CALL GIRLS FROM HELL and the upcoming action flick HELLFIRE.

It's truly an HONOR to announce that ANOTHER NIGHT AT BEAVER'S has been selected as a FINALIST in this year's GenreBlast film festival!!!!

I've often heard such great things about the event, so to be not only selected but also to be competing as a finalist in their screenplay competition is just too awesome for words...
..he says after he rambles with MANY words.

Anywho, I'm truly blown away at the amount of attention my sleazy little strippers-vs-satanic-snot-monsters screenplay has been getting over the last year.

And, as I'm finishing up the final color pass on AMITYVILLE WOMEN'S PRISON CHAINSAW MASSACRE, I can get back to focusing on the next step in getting ANOTHER NIGHT AT BEAVER'S made!!!!!

I’m so excited to be nearing the end of post production on AMITYVILLE WOMEN’S PRISON CHAINSAW MASSACRE. What started years ago as a joke between two filmmaker friends has gone from an idea for a fake trailer for Texas Frightmare into a fun short film with actual distribution from one of the longest running indie companies around.

It’s pure grindhouse sleaze, chock full of nudity and gore, quirky dialogue, and a hulking serial killer… and a nun!!

And it gave me an idea for a mock trailer……………..which I’ll be working on soon. 😉

In nearly 13 hours, I will be calling “ACTION!” on what will be hands down the sleaziest film I’ve worked on… maybe EVER.

It’s been almost three years since I’ve directed any narrative story, and I’m eager to see it come together.

Especially for… reasons.

This was a pretty awesome surprise to get this morning!!!

Things have slowed down with ANOTHER NIGHT AT BEAVER’S and its festival run, but that’s just because I’ve been so focused on this short film we’re finally shooting next weekend, and getting a few other pitches ready to go (including one I’m so fu***ng excited about I could puke).

Everything is coming up Milhouse!!!

Well, this was a really cool surprise! Though, I have no idea how or why it got sent to my old address that I haven’t lived at in two years, but it did wind up in my parents’ hands instead.

I digress! I wasn’t expecting a trophy from the Boomtown Film and Music Festival, but it was certainly welcomed!

I had been informed of my win about a month before the festival because of their plans to perform it LIVE, and while I wasn’t able to attend in person, I hear it went over very well with their audience. I haven’t had the chance to listen to the full performance, but I will soon.

Thanks so much to every festival that has accepted my nasty little grindhouse splatter comedy script, and especially thanks to the festivals who saw fit to give it awards!

This has been a wild ride, and it’s nearly over for the film festival side. I plan to pitch it VERY soon to some high powered producers, and have some ins with really cool genre film companies, so the sky is the limit!

NOW, LET’S MAKE THIS FU***NG MOVIE.

Oh s**t.

Over the weekend, ANaB was featured at FOUR different film festivals: RENEGADE FILM FESTIVAL (nominated but did not win), DAYS OF THE DEAD (still waiting to hear results), BOOMTOWN FILM AND MUSIC FESTIVAL (where it won AND was performed as a live reading!), and ATLANTA AFTER DARK FILM FESTIVAL where it won BEST HORROR COMEDY FEATURE SCREENPLAY!

This nasty little script just keeps rollin’ and I cannot WAIT until we can unleash it on the unsuspecting public…

Received this news yesterday, but I'm just now in a position to share the info. ANOTHER NIGHT AT BEAVER'S was selected for Days of the Dead Atlanta next weekend, and I received word that it's also a FINALIST in their competition!
I will be unable to attend in person, which is a bummer, but it's for a good reason, I promise. 😉

HEY HOUSTON and BEAUMONT GANG!!!!

My award-winning screenplay ANOTHER NIGHT AT BEAVER'S was chosen as the WINNER of Best Screenplay at this year's Boomtown Film & Music Festival, and as a result, they're having a LIVE READING of the screenplay at the festival at the end of February!!!!
I will unfortunately be unable to attend, but I'd still love it if some of my friends were able to attend it and be entertained by my insanity.
