North Dakota was one of the reasons for our summer road trip. My wife needed it to complete her 50 states traveled.

It surprised us with how beautiful it was. was amazing as well as a lot of other parts. It was sure windy, but such a great way to save gas if the wind was at your back. Haha.

This was one of the BEST DAYS EVER! ordered in February and worth the wait. My wife ordered this for me as a Valentine’s Day/birthday present and I waited patiently for my dream backpack.

I had done tons of research and had built this pack exactly how I wanted it online and they delivered this past summer.

Some of the things you see along the way. Many people spend a lot of time creating something that will hopefully get you in the door.

Yet there aren’t many doors to enter in some places. When the only option is a gas station/casino/cafe you take it when you’re hungry. But hey it was pretty good. And I got to meet Daryl.

Taking one day at a time. This was a heavy week. A good man, a Christ-follower and one that stood for what he believed… assassinated. A school shooting. A friend’s daughter in a bad side by side accident that will ultimately change all their lives. And more I am sure.

In a single moment, our lives can change forever. Until then, live your life. Love madly. Be kind. Stand up for what you believe in. Don’t put off your goals, your dreams. We are never guaranteed time. Take that time and make the most of it. Check something off that bucket list.

Photography has always been, not quite a passion of mine, but a love. I love taking pictures. But seeing how many work so hard to take their bulky and heavy cameras everywhere is truly a turnoff for me. The added weight just to be able to post on YouTube or social media really takes away from the experience.

On this trip, since we were traveling by car, I carried my good camera. But in all honesty, I really can’t tell much difference between it and my cell phone camera pics. Idk. Maybe it’s just me. But it was fun.

We were driving from one place to another in North Dakota, then out of the corner of my eye, I saw a small sign that read “Geographical Center of North America.”

I thought it was a museum or something like that. Really had no idea. What I did know was that this was the absolute middle of nowhere. We turned around and decided to take a look. The monument was excellent and in good taste. What blew my mind is that we were standing in the center, and someone took the time to figure out where this place was.

Also, how mind blowing this is , is how far north this is located in the United States, showing just how vast Canada is.

That moment when you’re in North Dakota in July and it’s FREEZING! Haha.

Visited and loved it. It was a cross between the Badlands of SD and the rolling hills of Montana. Such a cool place filled with Bison and Varmints.
