Throughout the Gospels, Jesus is seen sharing meals with others and teaching them about God. A recent sermon series challenged me to change my perception of fellowship.

The concept of community reaches back to the beginning of time and was taught in the early church as a foundational principle. It is still important, even though many people have stopped attending church in local communities.

The Bible has much to say about the community in both testaments, especially through the words and examples of Jesus, Paul, Peter, and others. It is important to find your community. So you can grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Our hope is in the God who loves us with an eternal love so much so that even while we were yet sinners, broken by the grip of sin, God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross as a ransom for our sins and reconcile us to God.
