Well howdy, folks. Been a minute. Not sure if you’ve noticed but it’s hella expensive just to breathe outside, so we haven’t had as many opportunities to highlight local businesses as we’d like. But here’s one….

I wish we would have known Flying C Ranch made BEEF breakfast sausage when we were still in business cus we woulda used the ish out of it! It makes a damn good gravy lemme tell ya🤤! Just look at that beautiful bowl of why we’ll always be a lil chunky.

First Saturday of college football requires good eats. Nachos were the good eats of choice on this special day. Big thank to Vincent's BBQ & Catering for that juicy, tender, mouth-watering pulled pork to go atop the bed of chipperoonies to create a masterpiece of Nacho Mountain.

It’s hot. Like, hundred and hell hot. Food truckin’ is no easy life when the hot be this hot. Taqueria La Eterna Primavera was our stop this weekend. The original plan was to try a different truck, but they didn’t happen to be where we thought they were gonna to be, so this was our impromptu back-up plan. They quickly cured our disappointment of missing the first truck! Elote cup? Slappin’! Pupusas? Bussin’! Do the kids still say that? Birria tacos? Deliciousin’! Flautas? Yessirin’!🤤

Friendly folks, plenty of options, and dayum it was taste bud smackin’! Located beside Arby’s(gross) on Harkrider! Big lot with plenty of parking! Check ‘em!😎

HOT TIP: after baking your bacon in the oven at 400 for 20ish mins(cuz that’s the best way) drizzle that jank with some hot honey. Highly recommend slappin’ some hot honey mayo on that sammich too if that’s your thing. You can thank me later.

Weather was total dook last weekend. Not so much this weekend. Made a fam adventure out to Long Pool Recreation Area to check out a neat lil waterfall(included a picture down yonder for ya if ya wanna see), then stopped at this lil spot we’ve heard much about called Hagarville Grocery for a few sammiches….

Friends, family, acquaintances, and even the haters(we know you’re out there😏)…Go. Eat. These. Sammiches😳. The words “this sammich is the best I’ve ever had” were even uttered. Granted they were the words of a 15-year-old, but it still counts. HIGHLY recommend The Dogmother(pic #2)🤤!

And you MUST give Jolene all of the pets(also pictured below because duh)! She’s our new favorite doggo😍!
