Y'all gotta help a girl out!

I bought these from DG to try them out. I love Dill Pickles, but these are not good. They're not crunchy enough and have an odd flavor. I've tried a lot of pickles, these just aren't it for me. I could try to give the benefit of a doubt by saying maybe it's just a bad batch.

Anyway, I try hard to not waste food.

What recipes or food combos would you recommend for me to try these in other dishes instead of straight up? If you have any recipes or pinterest pins, send my way!

EVERYONE HAS SOME KINDA "HACK" THESE DAYS...

Life hacks, cooking hacks, going out hacks, they're somehow everywhere. Some of them we all might even do but somebody says it's a hack so it must be...?

This isn't really a hack. This is just a reminder that I love Dollar General! In South Carolina, they're everywhere. I don't know of a town that doesn't have one, but it would shock me! I feel like they are everywhere! Every mile!

And what makes them even better to me is their deals, app, and savings they can do. Especially if you're on a budget! Clipping coupons or heading that way on Saturdays to save $5 can add up! Saving $5 a week may seem small, but every little bit can matter.

NOT A MOVIE TO REPORT... but, today, I played casual Lorcana! The new set was just released. The cards are hard to get this time around because of scalpers, but I'm trying out a deck themed around this card.

I worked, had 2 meetings, and then played some games with this new deck I built.

This was my first time watching this movie. I know a lot of people rave and talk about it. I finally decided I'd give it a watch! 10/10, no notes needed. It was great! Great casting, great plot, and nostalgia as an older flick. Heath and Julia had perfect chemistry! I definitely understood the hype by the end.

I was definitely not the target audience for this movie. The plot was way too out there for me. I know there are people who like this plot style, but definitely not me. Acting was pretty good though and it was a unique story. Wouldn't watch it again, wouldn't recommend it.

MOVIE WATCHED ✔️ John Tucker Must Die, 2006.

Honestly, I don't know how this is the first time I've ever watched it. It has a lot of familiar faces in it including Ashanti, Sophia Bush, and Penn Badgley, and more. I love comedic movies and I always feel like I've seen them all, but this was refreshing and I have a lot more comedy movies that I realized I haven't seen yet! I loved the cast for this and the plot surprised me by the end. I don't know, I didn't think this film was as cliche as a lot of rom-com types that I've watched.

Summer Vacay no. 4: North Carolina 💗

Started our trip in Raleigh, NC! We went to celebrate the Oliveira's wedding 💍 Had some mid tacos, excellent hibachi, and making memories with our friends.

Carried on our trip to Cherokee, NC which is familiar ground to me, but as I get older, I want to see more. The unfortunate thing was that I became extremely sick on day 1! I am hopefully at the end of this illness. Because of this, I was bedridden a lot of the trip, but managed to escape for food... 😂

I mainly supported my family with the fun stuff. I guess I looked depressed, so this kind little girl walked up to me and gave me a sticker (on my last picture) and asked if I was okay. Very sweet. Kids have a lot of power!

✔️ Movie: The Invite (eh, 5/10)
✔️ Movie: Young Washington (surprised, 8/10)
✔️ Movie: Obsession (too scary for me, 9/10)
✔️ Lots of sweets & sleeping.
✔️ Losing at the slots, but maybe next time I'll try the tables.
