I don’t just celebrate Juneteenth for me—I celebrate it for my children.

Because while I’m planning parties and crafting fun over here, I’m also teaching my personal children what it really took for us to get here.
The sacrifices. The strength. The steps back 🥴—and the fight to keep moving forward anyway.

Juneteenth is about more than freedom. It’s about remembering, educating, and celebrating our story… and making sure our children carry it forward with pride.

So today, we honor the past.
We shine in the present.
And we keep building the future—one design, one conversation, one generation at a time. Happy Juneteenth! ❤️

I am absolutely the queen of seeing something cute and instantly thinking, “I can make that!”
Years ago, I spotted these address pillows at an open house and fell in love. Fast forward to this week—while cleaning up, I stumbled across some blank pillow cases and thought… why not?

Challenge accepted. And y’all—I LOVE how they turned out! Proof that a little inspiration (and a whole lot of craftiness) goes a long way.

What did y’all do for Teacher Appreciation Week? I was so swamped with Book Fair that I had to pull some last-minute magic Thursday night! I grabbed an old candy jar from Dollar Tree and turned it into a notebook paper vase with a Sharpie—super simple but cute. I picked up some fresh flowers and even whipped up a sublimated T-shirt just in time for our math teacher. Not my most planned moment, but it came together!
