On March 19, popular eatery Stoby's Restaurant experienced a fire that caused substantial damage to the inside of the building. Stoby's updated customers on March 31 through a Facebook post saying they "will need to tear down Stoby's" and rebuild, as well as open a Stoby's Express in the near future. News6 Reporter Joseph Darbe talked to the owner, David Stobaugh, about their plans for the future.

“UCAPD’s power hitters were unable to hit the ball out of the park because of the lack of air in the balls used by IFC,” Brad Moore of UCAPD said in a statement attached to the report. “We still don’t know why someone would cheat for such a great cause to collect food for the ones in need.”
