More Snow On The Way For Conway? Waccamaw Wally says.....
“Well hey there, Conway — Waccamaw Wally here, coffee in hand and keepin’ an eye on what the next few days have in store for us. Thursday kicks off with AM showers, a chilly 39° for the high and 26° overnight, so keep that jacket close and don’t trust the driveway to be dry. Friday calms down a good bit with partly cloudy skies and a nicer high around 52°, low near 33°. Saturday looks like the pick of the bunch — sunny, crisp, and pleasant with 49°/23°, and Sunday stays mostly sunny with 44°/31°, which is the kind of weather that makes you want to step outside just to breathe it in. Then Monday turns partly cloudy and warms up to about 59° with a low near 39°, so we’ll be creepin’ back upward a little.”
“Now let me give you a little teaser… because I’ve been peekin’ at that long-range forecast, and wouldn’t you know it — next week’s numbers are flirtin’ with the 60’s. And around here, you don’t just see that on a screen… you start feelin’ it show up in little ways. Sometimes it’s the way the frogs start chirpin’ a little earlier in the evenin’, like they’re testin’ the waters. Sometimes the river changes its mood — runs a touch steadier, smells a little more like spring, and the air just don’t bite quite as hard when the sun drops. Don’t mean we’re done with winter — not in Conway — but it does mean the seasons might be startin’ to shift their weight.”
