WCGA 1050 Radio Conyers

WCGA 1050 Radio Conyers WCGA AM-1050 In the mid-70s, Conyers, Georgia (30-miles) east of Atlanta, got its own radio station: WCGA AM-1050. Paul Stone was the owner.

The studio was located on the second floor of a small office building at 954 South Main Street. At 1,000 watts, the station was daytime only for many years, broadcasting adult contemporary music, mixed with a lot of local news and sports. High School football and a college football prognostication program were mainstays in the schedule.
