* At 738 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Gainesboro,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

When I started PutnamSevereWx it was with the intention to provide the best weather coverage possible for the people of Putnam County Tn. That goal was possible when the page first started on twitter back in 2014 and it worked out well. It could hardly rain in this county without me updating. Unfortunately that ability has been cut way short in the past year or so and I apologize to everyone who relies on me for their coverage. Between life events, the cost of everything increasing from subscriptions, software, etc. To platforms limiting views unless you pay for their (Plus membership or whatever), to work life balance. It became difficult to find the time and money to keep this page running the way I want it to run.

With all that being said. I'm not going anywhere.

I am going to hopefully at some point look into restructuring and get this page back to where I want it to be. It's just going to take time and a miracle at this point. But i'll figure something out.

And hopefully the next update I give will be some great news.

* At 1128 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Sunnybrook to near Lebanon, moving east at 75
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Good evening, everyone.
We have ourselves the setup for strong to severe thunderstorms tonight. We have all the ingredients, the cookbook is on the table, and the oven has been preheating. We have everything for a dangerous nighttime event. Let's get into details.

First off, a tornado watch will likely be issued for potions of Mid Tn by 9pm. This may or may not include us. All modes of severe weather will be possible, including damage winds of 74mph plus, damaging hail of 3 inches plus, and long track tornados.

Timing unfortunately looks to be when everyone is a sleep, so between 11pm and 2am. You will need to have a way to be woken up if a warning is issued. Adequate shelter is recommended tonight. So if you live in a trailer mobile home, etc. Stay with family or friends.
