⭐️FEEL GOOD FRIDAY⭐️

Sheriff Eddie Farris would like to congratulate Kingston Carr on completing his high school credits and officially graduating while in juvenile detention.

This is the first time ever a student has graduated while housed in the Putnam County Juvenile Detention facility. Kingston said he wanted to finish his High School credits, and with the right support he was able to do that.

Thank you to the Putnam County School System for making this possible, and a special thanks to Sherry Melton and Bobby Winningham for their dedication to teaching this student.

Sheriff Farris said, “This was made possible through teamwork by our Juvenile Corrections Deputies, Judge Randolph, educators, and a young man who wanted to take responsibility for his future. Education is one of the most powerful tools we can offer young individuals.”
