🚧 HWY. 10 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧

We want to provide an update on where things stand with the third lane project on Highway 10. The latest information from MnDOT shows the new third lane in each direction will be open to traffic by the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 21.

More details:

◾ Due to a delay in powerline relocation work, the ramp from westbound Hwy. 10 to Main Street will remain closed until Sunday, Nov. 16.

◾ The southbound Round Lake Blvd. loop to eastbound Hwy. 10 is closed until late November.

◾ Week of Nov. 10... Hwy. 10 will be reduced to one lane during off-peak traffic volumes for overhead sign installations.

◾ Week of Nov. 17... Traffic will be shifted so crews can stripe the three-lane configuration.

◾ Hwy. 10 will open to three lanes in each direction by the end of the day on Friday, Nov. 21.

◾ Noise wall work with continue as weather allows along eastbound Hwy. 10 from Main St. to C**n Creek. This will reduce eastbound traffic to two lanes during off-peak traffic volumes.

This is a MnDOT project and all information comes from them:

🚨RETIREMENT ALERT! 🚨

We want to wish our resident multimedia journalist and all-around nice guy Steve Antus the very best in his next chapter of life! Today is Steve's last day with CTN and the City of C**n Rapids.

For the past three decades, Steve has been a staple at CTN as a reporter and videographer covering community news, events, sports, City meetings and a number of special projects for the City. As a C**n Rapids native, Steve says it has been a privilege to lend his television production skills to the same community where he grew up.

In his retirement, Steve will be able to enjoy new adventures and more time with his lovely wife Ania. Congrats Steve! You will be missed.

The City is beefing up street sweeping for the next few years thanks to grants from the C**n Creek Watershed District and the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources.

Combined, the two grants will provide nearly $146,000 to increase the City’s reach and reduce pollutants in storm water runoff. CTN's Steve Antus has more.
