Shooting at Maple Grove restaurant under investigation
(Maple Grove, MN) - Maple Grove Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at Benihana located in the 11800 block of Fountains Drive. Officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025. When officers arrived, both the suspect and the victim had already left the area in separate vehicles. The victim later arrived at a local hospital with an unknown injury and is currently being treated.

The Maple Grove Police Department is actively working to locate the suspect. Information about the suspect is not being released at this time. No arrests have been made. The incident does not appear to be random and there is no known immediate or ongoing threat to the public.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Maple Grove Police Department at 763-494-6100. This is an active and ongoing investigation. Further information will be provided when appropriate.
