Update about the Santa at the Loop event taking place on Dec. 13.

EVENT WEATHER UPDATE: On Saturday, December 13, the outdoor elements of Santa at the Loop, the tree lighting at 5 p.m. and the Maple Grove Skating School performance at 6 p.m., have been canceled due to extreme cold.

Santa will still be available for free photos inside the warming house at Central Park (12000 Central Park Way, Maple Grove, MN 55369) from 4 to 7 p.m. Kids can enjoy free stuffed animal giveaways (while supplies last, limit one per child).

• 4 p.m. – Santa arrives to his workshop

• 7 p.m. – Santa returns to the North Pole

We will be collecting non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys for CROSS Services. Donations are encouraged. This event is presented in partnership with the Rotary Club of Maple Grove.
