Who is Mulbah K. Morlu Jr.?

Mulbah K. Morlu Jr. is a controversial political figure in Liberia, known more for sensationalism than substance. At one point, he falsely claimed to have met with then-U.S. President Barack Obama—a statement so misleading that the U.S. Embassy near Monrovia had to publicly debunk it before he retracted. This is not an isolated case; Morlu also irresponsibly alleged that Israeli militants were in Liberia to overthrow President George M. Weah, a claim that further damaged his credibility and risked inciting public fear.

Can someone with a track record of falsehoods and conspiracies be trusted to advocate for justice?

Let us ask the hard questions:
Where was Morlu when Liberian auditors were murdered in cold blood under suspicious circumstances?
Where was he when four missing boys were found dead, a tragedy that still haunts many families today?
During those painful times for the nation, Morlu was largely silent—preoccupied with enjoying his role as CDC party chairman, rather than standing up for justice, transparency, or the grieving families.

Liberia needs principled advocates—men and women of truth, integrity, and courage. It’s time we separate propaganda from genuine leadership. Morlu’s record speaks for itself.
