I was very excited when I got my 1u rack-mount mixers, and the 4u racks they're mounted in. They have all served me incredibly well.

But, they will all be listed online for sale very soon, as I revamp my set-up to where I will go back to my tabletop mixers, and be able to transport everything in cases with attached wheels.

So, I will both lighten my load, and make moving everything a lot easier on myself.

Fellow DJs and sound engineers, I meant to post this tip before:

CHECK THE MALE ENDS ON ALL OF YOUR CABLES!

While setting up for some recent jobs, I had issues of sound cutting out for seemingly no reason.

It turned out that the male connectors on my cables had come unscrewed. Not enough to be visible, but enough to cause issues. EVEN MY XLR CONNECTORS.

So make sure to check your connectors before thinking something more expensive is faulty, and spending too much money.
