Today, many of us gather with our families around the table, grateful for the time we get to share laughter, stories, and love. But we know not everyone has that privilege.

Across our community and across our nation, first responders, military members, and law enforcement officers stand watch. They protect us, guard our homes and our freedoms, and make it possible for the rest of us to enjoy these moments in safety and peace.

To those men and women serving today, away from their own families, we offer our deepest thanks. Your dedication, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment to others represent the very best of our country.

Today, we celebrate with gratitude in our hearts because you are out there doing what is hard, so we can do what is joyful.

Happy Thanksgiving, and thank you for being our guardians and our strength.

***High Wind Warning***

A High Wind Warning has been issued for Monday starting at 1:00 PM and ending at 10:00 PM. Expect south winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected along capes, headlands, and exposed areas of Coos and Curry counties, including Cape Blanco, Cape Arago, Humbug Mountain, Bandon Head, Pistol River, and exposed portions of Highway 101.

🌧 Haunted Woods Update 🌧
Unfortunately, The Haunted Woods is canceled for this weekend October 24th & 25th due to the major storm rolling into town. We typically go rain or shine, but this one’s a bit too much to pull off safely.

The good news — we’re not done scaring you yet! 👻 We plan to reopen next week on:
🎃 Thursday (Halloween Eve)
🕸 Friday (Halloween Night)
💀 Saturday (Day of the Dead)
