If you’re between 13 and 18 and enrolled in a Coos County school, get ready to bring the vocals, the energy, and the confidence! We want to see YOU at our final audition event!

On Stage Live Auditions will be on Thursday, May 14, at the Egyptian Theatre in Coos Bay. Doors open at 5:00, auditions kick off at 5:30. No instruments, karaoke only. Contestant fee is $25 to enter. The public is invited to watch at no cost.

Step into the spotlight and show the judges and the crowd what you’ve got. But this is your final chance to get on the roster.

Saturday, May 9th, is going to be one for the books at Coos Bay Speedway, and you are going to want the whole family there for this one.

Racing gets underway at 6 in the evening, and the night kicks off with the Mega Bike Giveaway. Kids pick the bike they want to win, drop their ticket in the cup attached to it, and hope their name gets called. Simple as that, and one lucky kid goes home with a brand new ride.

Then things get a little chaotic.

The Port-O-Potty Trailer Race of Destruction, presented by South Coast Septic, is exactly what it sounds like. Drivers hit the track hauling port-o-potty trailers behind them in a race built entirely around laughs, mayhem, and glorious destruction. It is one of those things you have to see to believe.

The first 100 kids through the gate each get a free Hot Wheels car, so get there early. Food, cold drinks, and ice-cold beverages from 7 Devils Brewing Company will be on hand all night to keep everyone fueled up.

Bikes, Hot Wheels, racing, and the kind of destruction only a port-o-potty trailer can deliver. Coos Bay Speedway, Saturday, May 9th, racing at 6.
