Land Rover enthusiasts across North America hear Les Parker’s rummy British greetings when they call Rovers North. His product knowledge, born out of his service with the British Army, was legendary.

It’s with great sadness that we announce his passing on January 30, 2026.

Les made every enthusiast feel like a friend, and his attendance at Land Rover events confirmed his genuine delight at sharing his knowledge, expertise and vibrant personality. We will all miss him greatly.

ROAV invited us to Pearl's Pond to be part of MAR 2025. We're the guest this episode for a field report from the MAR Rally. We discuss the Ginseng Bog challenge, Technical Experience Area and the Land Rover expedition vehicles on display -- Oxford, Pollyanna, and the Darien Gap Range Rover.

The only topic in the news is the cyberattack that caused JLR to cease all vehicle manufacturing. Though we also discuss electric Range Rover Sentinels and the Defender Service Award voting is announced.
