This business started in 2018.
We started as a kids accessories and upcycled tees shop. Which transformed into faux leather hair bows and accessories. Which transformed into DTG tees. Which transformed into what we are today: DTF transfers and gang sheets along with embroidery, completed apparel and accessories.
If you would’ve asked me 3 years ago after we made the move from FL to TX if I ever imagined us being here, now, doing what we do, I would’ve very quickly and very sternly told you no!
One thing I’ve learned as a small business owner is there is ebb and flow. There is incessant change along with growth and pivoting to maintain growth.
I never in a million years imagined I would have what I do today and I am beyond grateful that I am able to do what I do and not only provide for my customers but also provide for my family and my local community!
When you start a business you create a why. Never in a million years did I think my why would change! What went from a place of creating purpose for me outside of mother & wife, as a creative outlet so I had something to do other than be a mom and be a wife has turned in to so much more!
This business has turned into mentorship. It has turned into a way to give back to the schools in our community. It has tuned into an extension of the hands and feet of god by being able to give back to our community. It has turned into a plan to retire my husband from his job in corporate America. It has turned into a legacy to leave for my children so they have a fruitful way to support their family once we are gone. It has turned into a dream to grow beyond our small community!
My once small why has grown into a full fledged business opportunity with growth and even bigger hopes and dreams!
When you purchase from Boutique Rebellion you are literally supporting me and my husband and our 6 (of 8 ) children who still live at home. You are creating opportunities for us to expand and employ my children because they may not be able to function in a corporate environment. You are creating an opportunity for my husband to no longer be tied to a corporate job and have the ability to help my shop flourish & grow! Right now I am still the one and only employee at the shop, operating the 3D printer, UVDTF & DTF printers and the embroidery machine along with customer service and packaging and shipment of orders. While my husband does assist with laser engraving, hat embroidery and all of the IT tasks required to keep our equipment running, he donates his time to do so! I look forward to the day that he is an employee on the payroll!
We are real people, with real goals and dreams looking to be able to continue to pour into our community by giving back to local organizations right here in our community!
I never imagined this little hobby turning into a full fledged business and having so much opportunity and impact!
It was always just a dream and now it’s really happening and it’s really growing!
