Divya Tyagi, investigadora de origen indio en la Pennsylvania State University, corrigió y amplió la fórmula creada por el ingeniero británico Hermann Glauert en los años 1900, usada durante décadas para calcular la eficiencia de las turbinas eólicas. Su versión incorpora variables nunca antes consideradas, como la flexión de las palas y las fuerzas de empuje, logrando predicciones mucho más precisas del rendimiento y durabilidad de los aerogeneradores.
