Apparently I’m not just shopping for bike gear anymore—I’m assembling Spartan armor. 😂🚲

Put this setup on and immediately thought Master Chief. At this point, if the gear makes me feel ready to save humanity and hit the trail, I might have to get it.

Another example of adapting my delivery to fit the campaign. 🎬

This Sweet Sweeps UGC sample was built around a fast-moving, testimonial-style concept—direct-to-camera delivery, quick proof points, product interaction, and a clear CTA designed for short-form social.

One of the things I enjoy most about UGC is the range. The product and audience may change, but the goal stays the same: create branded content that feels natural coming from a real person rather than a traditional commercial.

This is the one that started all this. 🚲

I originally picked up this ’98 Specialized because I needed a bike for a UGC job. That was supposed to be the whole story.

Instead, after getting it rideable, I started putting miles on it…and remembered exactly why I loved bikes so much growing up.

Now an afternoon ride, some gravel, a trail and a South Florida sunset have become something I genuinely look forward to.

Funny part is, I thought I was buying a prop for an ad.

Turns out I was buying my way back into cycling.

And apparently a whole bunch of bike projects. 😂

Sometimes the best way to sell a simple product is to give the creative a whole lot of personality. 😂

This MOI UGC sample takes a completely different approach from a traditional product demo—fast pacing, humor, storytelling, pattern interrupts, and a little frustration thrown in for good measure.

That’s part of what I enjoy about creating branded content. Every product doesn’t need the same voice. The job is finding the creative angle that fits the campaign and gives people a reason to stop scrolling.

I’ve officially reached the “buy an empty frame and build the whole damn thing myself” stage of this bike obsession. 😂🔧🚲

Meet the 1996 Jamis Dakar Team—polished aluminum, full suspension, almost 30 years of character, and absolutely nowhere near being a complete bicycle yet.

That’s the fun part.

I want to learn this bike from the frame up: sourcing parts, figuring out what works together, hunting Marketplace for donor bikes, making mistakes, and eventually riding something I assembled myself.

No finished-bike shortcut on this one. We’re starting with a bare frame and seeing where it takes us.

Mission Jamis begins.

Cybersecurity isn’t exactly the easiest subject to make entertaining. That’s where the creative comes in. 🎬

For this UGC sample, I used humor, character, and a relatable online-security scenario to turn a technical brand message into something that feels native to social media.

That’s one of my favorite parts of UGC: finding the personality inside the message and creating an ad people might actually stop scrolling to watch.

Mission Jamis is officially underway. 🚲🔧

One of the things I love about this whole journey is finding ways to connect my work with something I’ve genuinely fallen in love with. Today’s assignment: shoot two UGC ads, take that money, and put it right back into this build.

Fork? Crankset? Bars and stem? We’ll see how far today’s jobs get me. 😂

I’m building this bike to learn on, improve my MTB skills, and eventually be ready when it’s time to step up to something newer and bigger.

Work funds the build. The build fuels the riding. The riding gives me more content.

Welcome to the cycle life of Sam Love Bikes.

Financial UGC doesn’t have to feel like a finance commercial.

This Canvas Annuity sample was created around a straightforward concept: take a financial product that may be unfamiliar to some consumers and introduce it through simple, conversational creator-led content.

For me, that’s part of being versatile as a UGC creator—adjusting the delivery, pacing, and tone to fit the brand and industry while still making the content feel natural on social.

Welp… the skinny won Round 1. 😂🚲

I’m learning these MTB features one obstacle—and apparently one fall—at a time. I can make it through most of the practice course, but this damn skinny keeps sending me packing halfway across.

I’m not interested in getting hurt trying to prove something, but I’m definitely not letting this thing beat me either. 😂

Experienced MTB riders: what am I doing wrong? Where should my eyes be? More speed? Less speed? Body position? Pedal pressure? Give me some pointers because I’m coming back for Round 2.

Not every UGC ad needs a long script to do its job.

This client sample was built around quick, direct creative variations designed to grab attention and move the viewer toward one simple action. Short-form content like this is all about testing different hooks, delivery styles, and calls to action while keeping the message easy to understand.

Sometimes less really is more.
