Country Classic Hits and Grand Ole Opry 100

Here's a recording of my latest of Country Classic Hits and the Grand Ole Opry which was an interesting topic. We played songs from the legends who ruled the country charts — from Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline to Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson — honoring the music, memories, and magic of the Grand Ole Opry’s century-long legacy as it hits 100, since 1925 on WSM in Nashville.
The show is now podcast at www.thehistoryofrockandroll.net and it'll be on Recorded Shows.

Hey everyone

The History of Rock and Roll will be back for another upcoming podcast for this Monday, November 24th, it'll be on Country Classic Hits, all. From the 50s, 60s and 70s and some 80s, with some rockabilly spark, countrypolitan sheen, and crossover gems that owned both the country and pop charts.
From honky-tonk heartache to radio-ready anthems, expect legends like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Glen Campbell, Buck Owens, Roy Clark, Charlie Rich, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Kenny Rogers, The Everly Brothers, and more.
We’ll also salute the 100th year of the Grand Ole Opry: country music’s biggest stage and the world’s longest-running radio show since 1925, with tracks from artists who’ve lit up that historic circle.
Tune in for steel guitars, story songs, and the crossroads where country met rock & roll.

The show will be podcast this Monday, November 24th by the afternoon or early evening at www.thehistoryofrockandroll.net and it's recorded from Debonaire Studio in Sunrise, FL.

The History of Rock and Roll Told in music by Meagan Paese

Hi, I am Meagan Paese. Welcome to my page where I will be giving you information on weekly radio show. I started broadcasting in 2010 doing a program for Lynn University and have been hosting a program on the history of Rock and Roll ever since. I am passionate about rock and roll because I feel like it tells important stories of American history. By listening to the music, we are keeping the memories alive.

My shows are unique because not only do I play the music, but I like to talk about the history behind the songs as well. I would love it if you would kindly join me on my weekly shows. My radio broadcast schedule is listed on my website: http://www.thehistoryofrockandroll.net/ If you like Rock and Roll, if you are interested in learning about American History, or the history of any other country which has contributed in shaping our world, please share this page with your friends.
