During the 1st Newsworthy Stories “Bring Your Business to the Beach: WORKCATION,” I encouraged attendees to book their future business and client meetings at the Wyndham and CHANGE THE ATMOSPHERE and the view. Today I did just that. I scheduled two meetings back to back. Thanks to Audra Cohill of the Wyndham Resort Deerfield Beach, my first meeting took place inside the Boardroom, the 2nd at the Wyndham’s “Patio Bar & Grill.

THEN, I introduced the two groups to one another in between meetings! . The Wyndham still a “Networking Paradise” even outside the “Workday Vacay.”

Coastal Connections Discovering another Delicious Dining Delight in Deerfield Beach, FL. It's part of a partnership between the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Deerfield Beach Council's efforts to highlight restaurants in the area, bringing them business in the middle of the week!

Kristin Mory, the Director of Economic Development in Deerfield Beach, also in the room, making a SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT, that would definitely interest local businesses and the community. Listen for it.

Hats off to the professionals who came and purchased lunch at the Gourmet ABC Chinese Restaurant, which is under new ownership and to Judith Mergilles for scoping out the location. I personally enjoyed the wonton soup and shrimp with vegetables, which was seasoned perfectly.

Will you join us, as we recognize this group of Deerfield Beach Junior Lifeguards? They’ve spent their summer training under our nationally recognized and award-winning Ocean Rescue team of CHAMPIONS!

This is no easy way to spend a summer. They’ve been grinding it out in training: running, diving, swimming, and board paddling. , you are looking at some of our future guards! They have big shoes to fill, but their champion mentors are certainly prepping them for success! Congratulations to the Jr. Lifeguard Summer Class of 2025!
