Happy Christmas Eve Everyone!!! I really thought I would be updating you all sooner than this but here we go....... Yesterday morning around 9:30 am Meuse starting showing signs of labor and if you know me, you know that life stops so I can be by our girls side start to finish. Around 6:30pm her water broke but there was no active pushing, no panting, no digging, no discharge etc. When I say this one was not textbook, I mean this one was far from it but I hope this helps educate others. Several hours passed, we walked laps, we repositioned, I kept a stethoscope on her to monitor heart rates.... Miss Meuse presented with a clear bag and another dark bag along side. I preformed a physical exam and there was no little in the canal. They were still deep in the abdomen. So at 9:30pm, I called the emergency hospital an hour away....... The vets told me to wait & hold out. Meuse wasn't showing signs of distress. She wasn't pushing & wasn't ready. So we waited....... That wait, ugh. I probably paced a path in my carpet. At 11:40pm, Meuse welcomed in a beautiful ee Red (B). She was trying to pass the placenta before the little one. At 1:40am a little ee Red Piebald (B). At 2:40am, a Chocolate & Tan (G). Then there was a whelping pause..... During that pause I made Christmas cookies while she slept and boy did she sleep. At 7am, a Chocolate & Tan (B). During this whole process, active pushing was minimal. She was unbothered and just tended to the 4 littles she welcomed in. At 10am, it was time to clean up everything. She got a bath, a clean box, breakfast, potty break & I started to deep clean everything. Since it was a stressful night with no sleep in over 24hrs, I took a shower. After the shower it was time to weigh the littles and what do i find? Another one at 11:30am. A little Chocolate & Tan (G). Now onto the fun part:

We will be doing 12 hr weigh ins to check for gaining. We will schedule Facetime sessions for when they are 2 weeks old and out of the danger zone. I will continue to post updates. HII!!! It is update time again! 🥰 Meuse has been moved to her whelping suite. This allows her to get used to her surroundings and walk around as much as she wants before the littles come. She is enjoying her bone and the warmth from her lamp. 🥰

Hi!!! I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Since December is right around the corner. It is update time!!! Miss Meuse is currently 5 weeks in & will welcome a bundle of chocolate loves between 12/22-12/27. Miss Holland is currently in season. We expect that basket of rainbows around 1/31/26-2/6/26. It is going to be a busy winter season! Stay tuned for our next update!❤

Yesterday, we had our first snow fall of the season! Yay! While I love the snow, they were over it quickly. 😄 They spent their morning following me around while i cleaned and laying in front of their personal heater.

Today, Miss Holland had a vet appointment. She got her yearly shots, heartworm test & testing done. She is 100% perfect and healthy. She wasn't happy about this trip though.🤣 She voiced her opinion at our vet every time he turned around to walk out of the room. 🤣 Do you think she is mad at me? I'm going to say yes based off that first picture.

Pictures from yesterday! Frankie is going to be spoiled rotten in TN. He was a perfect rider until he peed on me.🤣 After a quick stop at the house for a shower & outfit change, we traveled north to Lexington with Drac. This wiggle bug really was on the move most of the drive. I hope he loves all of the snow in Northern Ohio this winter. ❤ This was the last of our 2025 littles. ❤

Posting is going to be sporadic and slow until around Christmas. Meuse is due around 12/22- 12/27.
Holland will likely come into season between Nov- Dec. That due date will be around Jan-Feb.

Wee beans are all on hold. Surprise to us Miss Meuse decided to come into season early. If all goes well, we may very well have more than just Christmas presents from Santa this year. (Travel dates will be in March)
