Strada HBCU Initiative - Day 2...

On the 2nd day of the Strada HBCU Initiative, the data became more rich as we conducted focus group interviews of institution leaders, also known as Strada Points of Contact, who represented 47 HBCU's. The extensive dialogue allowed POC's to share their overall experiences with the Strada HBCU Initiative, more specifically their leadership practices while serving Strada Scholars.

We're excited that IndigoLife Communications, Inc. got to track the work of the POC's and assess the value they add to this Initiative. Kudos to Strada Education Foundation, whose investment in this Initiative also provided the indigoLife Team the opportunity to create a space for institutional leaders and advisors to narrate their lived experiences and share how leadership, stewardship, decision-making, and partnerships shape impact and sustainability.

What a great way to honor leadership labor, and to position Presidents and Points of Contact as co-authors of impact, not background actors. This is where leadership voices become legacy.

Thanks to our amazing Team: Barbara Williams, Sr. Analyst, Eda I. Garcia, one of our Domain Experts, and Crystal Harvey, one of our Data Researchers.

Time to get busy! We've got data to analyze.

What a weekend!

Day 1...On any day, its a joy to watch and celebrate the milestones and successes of HBCU scholars. The investment that Strada Education Foundation has made to students at these institutions is no small change. With the Strada HBCU Initiative, hundreds of students receive scholarship support, leadership development and internship opportunities. As the story of the Initiative's Impact continues to unfold, whose going to uncover and narrate how student successes are shaped and sustained? ✋🏽

Thanks to Strada Education Foundation, IndigoLife Communications, Inc. was contracted to conduct program evaluation services of their Strada HBCU Initiative, using our proprietary framework, that not only complements their existing impact analysis, but also elevates the voices and contributions of of the advisors, who work alongside these students and push them to heights of greatness.

It felt great to stand in the room on Day 1 while 300+ students (Strada Scholars) and nearly 100 campus leaders completed the surveys my company designed as part of the data collection process. Thanks to our amazing Team: Barbara Williams, Sr. Analyst, Eda I. Garcia, one of our Domain Experts, and Crystal Harvey, one of our Data Researchers. This work could not have been done without a great team. Thanks, Strada, for this amazing opportunity. We look forward to the next phase of the work. Now off to analyze some rich data!
