Our final "Sistahs in the Soil" Feature Brings the Legacy Full Circle: Leiandra D. McLemore of Dollison Farms in Poulan, Georgia.

As part of our "indigoLife Publisher-on-Site Farm Tour," Dr. Alicia Ritchey visited Leiandra D. McLemore, a fifth-generation farmer who is redefining what legacy looks like. Working side by side with her father, Ricky Dollison, Leiandra leads a thriving, multi-enterprise operation known for its innovation, integrity, and community impact.

Her grandmother, Bernice Dollison, remains a guiding presence with her wisdom echoing across the fields and through every decision made on the farm. Together, these three generations uphold a tradition of excellence that began in 1949 and continues to expand across 200 acres of row crops, elderberry, chestnuts, livestock, and value-added products through Warrior Creek Premium Meats, as well as their elderberry product line of juice, powder, and peanut butter.

Leiandra’s story embodies the heart of the Sistahs in the Soil special edition of indigoLife Magazine, a timeless keepsake honoring women who lead, innovate, and carry legacy forward through the work of their hands... from the ground up.

Coming to the stage is Sharon Clark, founder of Off-Grid Living Farms in Jacksonville, Georgia.

As part of the IndigoLife Publisher on Site Farm tour, Dr. Alicia D. Ritchey visited Sharon Clark to see firsthand how she models sustainable agriculture and modern homesteading. What began as a family endeavor has evolved into a premier 5-acre demonstration site for regenerative farming, natural product development, and community education.

Sharon’s precision in the field is a reflection of her grandfather, Herman Smith, who first taught her to see the adventure in the soil. His lessons in patience, observation, and care remain at the heart of her farm’s philosophy. From elderberry orchards to innovative land stewardship, Sharon’s work blends inherited wisdom with forward-thinking practice, proving that small acreages can yield extraordinary impact.

Off-Grid Living Farms is featured in the Sistahs in the Soil special edition of indigoLife Magazine, a timeless keepsake honoring women who cultivate legacy, leadership, and community... from the ground up.
