With heavy hearts, we share the passing of David Leon Westreicher, a faithful member of the Cordell Water Department for over 15 years, a hardworking man with a kind heart, and a devoted father and grandfather.
David left this world on May 15, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on March 3, 1961, in California to Annette Louise Westreicher (Lambott) and Paul William Westreicher, David lived a life marked by a strong work ethic, a deep love for his family, and a heart always willing to serve.
He is survived by his four children, Tabitha Evanetich, Casey Pickens, Paul Sperle, and Anthony Scott, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Zoey, Riley, Bentley, Presley, Beckett, Colton, Saige, and Amelia.
David touched many lives. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
To honor his life, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 20, at 2:00 p.m., located at 600 W. Gary Blvd., Clinton, OK.

Cordell’s Hometown Celebration is stacking up to be a day of family fun, friendly competition, and a bit of old-fashioned luck, with the Co****le Tournament and Bingo on Saturday, June 28.

Next Saturday's Hometown Celebration in Cordell is going to be fabulous! It will be indoors at the Activity Center, so no worries about rain. There will be THREE giant rooms of fun! Vendors, amazing entertainment, and a kids' jump space are some of the activities! There will be a car show, BINGO!!, and a Co****le tournament! As if that wasn't enough, now there will also be a parade around the Activity Center! Our Cordell Chamber of Commerce and Sarah Lau have put together THE event of the summer. Cordell Arts & Humanities Council is providing the entertainment with professionally produced sound, featuring one of my favorite bands, The Bisketheadz! You may have seen them perform at Altus Rock n Rumble or at events in Medicine Park. Also performing will be the jazz ensemble Those Cats from Out West and the amazing Talk of the Town orchestra, which plays music from all eras and genres in a unique big band style. I can't wait for June 28th!
PLEASE SHARE, AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
