The one and only time I ever saw a Sea Turtle laying its eggs.. I was zoomed in and people were at least 50 feet away. We had pulled our vehicles to block anyone from being able to drive near her.

Just so everyone knows keep following this page for Currituck Beach information and follow Corolla Beach Idiots for the shenanigans you were used to seeing. It is safe to come out and play now!

People always wonder if the horses ever escape the north beach.. Yes usually very early in the morning when they are found. Then volunteers for the Corolla Wild Horse Fund like myself and the guy on the bike have to make sure they make it safely back to the beach..
