This was a challenge. I had to cut a curved top plate, for the back rest of my curved bench. Since the back rest is going to be leaning back, i couldnt trace the curve I made for the seat, as the dimensions will be slightly differ

Truss day is always the best part of a frame. We had a bit of fun installing these 12m trusses at a frame that we finished up late last year. I’ve posted the video of the full day on YouTube back in November.

There’s plenty of ways to tie off those posies in hard to access areas, but will take more time sorting out then pre nailing on your joist hanger before lifting it up

I made a big mistake. These blocks could explode. Im going to apply a thick layer of this fire resistance mortar to protect the blocks. Im not worried about allowing space for air to enter through the blocks, as I am going to fill
