Four years ago, I wrote my first book: “Taming Turnover.” I had invested in an online course, learned all that I could, wrote my book in less that 45 days, published it, launched it, and we hit Amazon #1 Best Selling book in 3 different major categories and #1 Hot New Release in various categories.

After writing the book, I began to promote it as much as possible in different circles, networking events, online, offline. You name it, I was doing it. I was so excited to have now become a best selling author.

The doors that it opened for me were amazing! The positioning power that it gave me were unbelievable. In many instances, it opened opportunities for conversations with some Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies that we would later do work with. Because of the book, it opened opportunities for me to be able to write for some of the largest publications in the world and be featured on many as well, such as: Entrepreneur, Forbes, INC, AskMen, Addicted2Success, The Good Men Project, and Thrive Global.

So, I think it’d be proper to say that writing my first book changed my life. It literally changed the trajectory of my path. Since then, I have been able to work with many companies and global brands across seas sharing many of the leadership principles that I teach in my book.
