NewsRadio 1360 KKTX News Radio 1360 KKTX is 1360 AM. 1360 was the first radio station in Corpus Christi, signing on April 26, 1929. KGFI became KRYS in 1956.

(KRYS call letters now K-99 99.1 FM). KKTX signed on in 2002 as a news talk sports station.
