Today, and all throughout the week, let us recommit ourselves to the principles upon which our country was founded. With grateful hearts, let us reflect upon the price of freedom, and the brave souls who gave their last full measure to preserve it. As we raise our flag, as we stand and salute or place our hands over our hearts, let us renew our sacred pledge that we will forever remain “one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Happy Flag Day!

Our General Manager, Deacon Mark Cazalas, was honored to attend and serve at the Summer Camp & Vacation Bible School, a cherished annual tradition established by Fr. Walsh that provides adults and children with special abilities an opportunity to gather in faith, friendship, and community.

The participants had an amazing time filled with fun, fellowship, learning, and laughter, and they wanted to share some of their special memories with you through these photos!

The Feast of Corpus Christi (Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ) and the reception of Bishop Mario Alberto Avilés into his cathedral, along with the consecration of the new altar and the blessing of the tabernacle, was a beautiful celebration to witness—whether in person or through social media. We look forward to the many visitors who will come in the future, as all who enter will undoubtedly experience the reverence, devotion, and love that are present throughout this sacred space.

It was truly a memorable occasion that reflected the beauty of our faith and the unity of our diocesan community.
