Founded in 1993 Island Waves News delivers newsweekly to thousands of readers around the campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, the city of Corpus Christi and beyond. Content is published weekly during the academic year, as well as in a bi-weekly print edition, and offers news, culture, arts, editorial, sports coverage, photos and videos from around campus and Corpus Christi. Our organization is run by TAMU-CC undergraduates. Island Waves News is fueled by students with a diverse array of interests such as reporting, writing, editing, photography, video production, design, marketing, advertising, and business.
