Tropics Update (9/13) 1PM CST:

NHC has highlighted an unorganized area of showers and thunderstorms in the Central Subtropical Atlantic. Strong upper-level winds are creating an unfavorable environment for development. Development odds remain low (20% over the next 7 days as of the latest update), but gradual development is possible by the middle to later portion of this week. This tropical disturbance will continue to move towards the west-northwest across the central part of the Subtropical Atlantic.

The next name up for grabs is Fay, but this won't be tropical trouble for the Coastal Bend.

Game Night South Texas Week 3!

Another thrilling night of Texas High School Football at Buccaneer Stadium! On Thursday, I hung out with Beeville Mighty Trojan Bands, and the Mary Carroll High School Band! Students from Elliott Grant Middle School joined the Tiger Band in the stands and on the field as part of Mary Carroll High School’s middle school band night! 🗡️🐅

Both groups had great performances and I’m excited to see where this marching season continues to take them! I’ve been enjoying giving live weather updates from the sidelines, and sharing how our local weather impacts the game. ⛅️💨

I’ll be back in two weeks for more on Game Night South Texas! 🏈
