Not all birds mean fish, but the correct answer was the lone seagull.

The mud boils and wakes were all great answers, and those are definitely signs I pay attention to. However, before I was even within visual range of any of that activity, the seagull was already giving the area away. It was working low and slow over the same stretch of water, which 9 times out of 10 means there’s life below the surface.
