Man, this past week has gone by WAY too fast! I’m still trying to figure out where September went, and somehow October 1st is already coming up way too fast.
But before we get there, I wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU to everyone who reached out to me this past Wednesday for my 43rd birthday. I think every birthday comment and message has officially been replied to… or at least I hope I got everybody!
Some people say 43 isn’t that old. I say it depends on what day it is and what project I’m working on.
Looking back on 43 years of my life, I’ve met some amazing people, made a lot of great memories, taken on more crazy projects than I could ever count, and definitely learned a few things the hard way.
Life certainly hasn’t always gone according to plan. There have been plenty of twists and turns, good times, hard times, and quite a few moments where I’ve probably asked myself, “What in the hell was I thinking?” 😂 But through all of it, I’m incredibly thankful for the people who have been there along the way and for everything I’ve gotten to experience so far.
The one thing I hope is that somewhere along the way, I’ve made some kind of difference in this world. If I’ve made somebody laugh, helped someone when they needed it, created a memory they’ll hang onto, or simply left something a little better than I found it, then I’d say these first 43 years have been pretty well spent.
So again, THANK YOU to everybody who took a few seconds out of their day to wish me a happy birthday. Whether it was a comment, message, text, phone call, or post, I truly appreciate every single one of you.
Now… let’s see what kind of trouble I can get myself into at 43. 😂
And apparently I better hurry, because October is knocking on the damn door! 🎃😂
