It’s the first game of the 2026-27 football season and the Corry Beavers are up against the Grove City Eagles tonight! Not able to make the away game? Well, don’t worry because you can watch the Corry Journal’s live stream as we will be broadcasting the entire game.

To prepare for the first game of the season, Rachael Hajec sat down with Head Coach Jeff Goodwill and Quarterback Jack Vanchieri to ask what they are most excited about this season. Also, some local community members wished our players good luck.

Corry’s Pet of the Week is Hank! Owned by Holly Slye, he is a 4-year-old German Shepherd who loves playing ball, going to his grandparents house, and being fed by his human baby brother, Jameson. Everyone say hi to Hank! 🐶🐾

Dolly Parton has passed away at 80. Labeled as an American icon and the "Queen of Country," the '9 to 5' singer's legacy will live on.

Her death came after in May 2026 she announced she was canceling a Las Vegas show and said she’d been undergoing treatment for kidney stones for several years.

What an amazing turnout we had at our 10K Party last Friday. Thank you to our entire Corry community for showing up and helping us dust off the doors of The Corry Journal. 🥳🩵
