⚠️ MONTEZUMA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT ⚠️

Health officials have identified a potential measles exposure site in Cortez.

If you visited Cold Stone Creamery (215 S. Sligo St.) on Tuesday, November 26th, between 3:30 PM and 6:00 PM, you may have been exposed to measles.

Please monitor yourself and your family for symptoms for 21 days from the exposure date (through Dec. 17).

Symptoms include: High fever, cough, runny nose, red/watery eyes, and a rash that starts on the face and spreads.

🚨 CRITICAL INSTRUCTION: If you develop symptoms, CALL your healthcare provider, urgent care, or emergency room BEFORE going in. Do not just show up, as this risks exposing others in the waiting room. Tell them over the phone that you may have been exposed to measles.
