Looks like near perfect New Year’s Eve weather for a ball drop. Unlike last year’s rainy night, we will take snow. Come out to Downtown Cortland tonight and celebrate the new year with The City of Cortland. Crown City Media’s own DJ and artist, Aetherupt (Gino Barnes)will be delivering the music to the street tonight.

We had a chance to set up our latest gear mix at Rose Hall for a live show last Friday. The challenge with live music is the gear required to handle low light situations is very specialized and pricey. The only way to truly trust what the gear is going to do is to test it live. Lessons were learned and changes will be made. We will be streaming the CHS Modern Band show Friday night. Let's see how that turns out.

We are bringing this new Mac Studio to a crawl. You are looking at the activity monitor of the Studio. It will finish this job in under 5 hours. The old MacBook Pro was 27 hours, M1 Mini 22 hours for the same work. The 10 core i9 PC 17 hours. 4K video workflow is intensive but we can do it here.
