Good Morning Friends!

This week I used up 30 more pounds of the frozen tomatoes in our freezer and made 12 quarts and 1 pint of Spegetti Meat Sauce! The Cantry Shelves are bursting at the seams and we are thrilled to have some food prep done and on the shelf. Looking for some low carb Spegetti type noodles to use. I have bought some heart of palm and have used Spegetti Squash in the past. Just wondering if anyone out there knows of any other alternatives???

Good Morning Friends!!!

Had a fabulous evening out with our daughter, Emily! We went out for Sushi and then to the local theater and seen the play Sense and Sensibility....so much local talent! Through the years Emily and I have enjoyed watching Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice together...our 2 favorite chic flicks! Lol.

A VERY thoughtful gift/surprise! Then topped off by spending the night and waking up to our 2 BIG Lils!!! Life is such a blessing!

Hey friends!

I am SOOOOO EXCITED!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Our daughter, Emily, called me and reserved a "date night" with me for tonight! I have no clue what she has planned for us. She told me to show up in my Sunday best so I will be putting a lil shine on and cleaning up a bit for our date!!! I was also told it was going to be a late night so I am planning on sleeping over.

So what do u think our "date night" is going to entail??? Leave your guesses in the comments!

Good Morning Dear Friends!🌞

Yesterday's corn harvest didn't happen due to the weather but it should be on for today! The grand kiddos are coming back to ride with Grampie Bob as Parker was a lil disappointed yesterday.

I made a quick run into Sam's Club store to pick up a order I placed, so of course, I had to include some of their rotisserie chickens! Lol. Broke them down for some future meal prep and made some homemade Chicky Noodle Soup for a sick friend and for our supper. It was delicious on a cold, rainy day.

I had 3 carcasses and some "onion, celery and carrot scraps" in the freezer so I have my large roaster going with 6 chicken carcasses in there making a vat of Chicken Bone Broth! Waste not want not I always say! Plus it just tastes so much better than store bought!

Canned Rotel Tomatoes from my frozen tomatoes. 27 lbs of tomatoes processed and made into 20 shelf stable pints of Rotel Tomatoes in the Cantry! Yay us!

Good Morning Friends!

Today will be the last day of Corn Harvest 2025!!!! Looks like the lils will be back to ride with Grampie Bob today too so I will try to get a couple pics to share.

The deer who so enjoy eating our crops will be looking for new cover as the remainder of the corn is harvested this afternoon. Hoping for a good "deer" harvest this next weekend too. We have several hunters that hunt our farm as Farmer Bob does not hunt. It is so important to decrease the herd as the population is quite high in our area...the damage to our back field was very evident and if not decreased disease is always a concern.
