Pizza Sauce completed last evening!

Many thanks to our DIL who allowed me to borrow her steam canner. Unfortunately, my FruitSaver brand, wore pin holes in the bottom and was leaking water. I purchased that one June 2022. I would not recommend that brand if u are thinking of purchasing one. HARVEST makes a stainless steel one that is fabulous. I ordered one but it won't be delivered until this Thursday. I cant wait!

Ended up with 3 pints and 16 half pints of pizza sauce from 16 lbs of tomatoes from our garden!

So what do you do with your egg surplus??

We had 4 dozen eggs piling up, so I made a sausage, onion egg bake for breakfast for Farmer Bob and myself. --used 10 eggs.

Then I fried up 2 1/2 dozen with onion, a lil bacon and sausage and made 15 breakfast burritos and 4 egg bowls for the freezer! These will make quick meals for lunch or breakfast for us.

Then the remainder for a sausage/onion bake with sourdough bread and strawberries to come alongside our dear family who needed to be loved on. 😍 Cuz that is what families do! 🥰

Last night we were down to 6 eggs and there should be another 10 tonight so the cycle restarts. Lol. The Chicken Sisters have been so busy these days! 🤣🐥😃
