If you come across and add from Best Factory Brands (or anyone else) offering guitars from Sam Ash stores at ridiculously low prices (129 for a custom Taylor, free shipping) or any other items is a scam.

SCAM ALERT!

people are putting taking pictures and putting up fake ads here, on CL etc. so far it seems a common factors are that it’s a distant area code, they ask if you can meet the next day, then, having asked you to phone or text, ask for your email so they can send you link for the background check which is only 29.95 fully refundable. They seem a little bit too good to be true, but there’s some mitigating aspect (or maybe we just want it to be real affordable housing so badly that we argue it for them.).
After it’s only 30 bucks time is a few hundred people a day .
The places to check legitimately easily have a one dollar test that’s good for five days or 29.95 a month for unlimited checks. Another way doesn’t make sense or add up. Offered to pay that in addition to the other fees, and provide my information so they can check it but that’s not ever gotten a response. They argue that as a homeowner it is small change. “Everything counts in large amounts.” Don’t fall for it. And don’t fall forward if they shift gears and change details to get better at covering their ignorance.
Just about everywhere I know there’s this county assessor online and you can check to find out who owns that property by the address. It can be a little bit tricky at times, but it is public info. Again don’t just fall back on that because later one of them is going to read this and figure it out but they can check the records and just say they are (name of legit owner). The pieces won’t add up.
That just means that it’s not safe to try to go private party anymore either .
If I wasn’t particularly savvy about such things, I’d be out $120 already in the last 24 hours.

Of course, I would never be the one to send them to your maker, but I would certainly like to hope that that maker has a special place in hell for scammers like these and the puppy scams.

in less than 24 hours, I’ve seen two pieces from Joe Rogan, which are absolutely false, void of truth. One was his (worthless and inaccurate) opinions about Seagal. The second claims that all life and creatures in the Everglades are dead & gone.

I wouldn’t trust anything from him. A self-aggrandizing sensationalist, the only reason I can go for him to put such crap out there is to gain notariety.

I can’t effing believe it but Facebook did it again seven more days that I have supposedly violated some imaginary standard so I can’t write or reply to anything for another seven days.

facebook: you and your lousy, pathetically written, algorithms can ho f**k yourself.

Effective immediately, I’m closing all my groups down or giving them to somebody else because I’m not going to bother with it if I’m gonna make these as****es money while they f**k with me . Indifference, they have to impacting other peoples lives is Intolerable.

Music theory is how and for people to figure out why what creators come up with works. I learned long ago to trust what my head and heart feel belongs there, I have a recording studio owner with a masters in music insisted that I couldn’t have an A in the bass piano part, because it wasn’t in the key. after an hour of trying to use what he insisted belonged and had to be there, according to music theory, he was man enough to admit that I was right, it sounded right with the A, it took an hour off the bill.
It was a valuable lesson for both of us. I suppose, if one feels stuck or stifled, perhaps it might come to be of use, but as long as I’m hearing the music in my head, I don’t need somebody’s theory to tell me whether or not I got it, right. So I can include music THEORY is just that - a pondering on why what a music CREATOR has done works.

It is now official. Facebook gas become the Internet N**i, completely. even that much is said in private conversation it's subject to their approval. Don't expect to see me around here much anymore I've given this "platform" enough of my time and energy. THOUSANDS of people in groups I started, getting nothing for it, simply serving others... and the ingrateful SOBs put me into their jail, as if I was some petulant child. but they don't mind getting from it. Guess what? Freebie time is over I'm shutting down my groups, summarily and permanently. They get nothing from me for free anymore.

as usual in their mindless useless f**king algorithm system, Facebook has remove my comments because they well I like some absurd concept of a community standard, that I would say that it doesn't take any particular religion or any religion at all to do something kind. This was an approval of a beautiful story about somebody who made somebody else's day or week by being kind.

if you can't get it right, then don't take anything off for my f**king comments you stupid as****es ! Now tell me some more about what you can and can't do with my words. you bastards!

Another scammer going to give away retire for free to someone who can't afford to buy it.

Just pay the shipping .

Can't afford to pay all the $60? How much can you afford, maybe I can help.

(because if you're willing to send 20 bucks via Cash app or Zello, neither of which is refundable, that's still 20 bucks more than they had before if they did that with 10 people a night, beats working for a living.

pretty low risk factor too, because it could be anywhere with a map and figure out Mew just too far to drive and if you do offer to drive, then they can't let you have the address because...

this one was giving her away because she just bought a Martin D17 (which hasn't been made since the early 1800s oops). send me a picture of an X series. I asked you the inside label and send a picture of a Road Series.

Scammers batting negative 1000. sad part is if they were sincere it would be hard to believe in them. Anyway, at this point will make their position at all credible... unless they happen to have the poor look of coming across a Guitar expert to tell their bs to.

You have to take a certain amount of responsibility for being scammed yourself. You chose to believe something unlikely because you were greedy. I love that anybody who would take 10% of someone's monthly income to scam them deserves a special place... I hope they get theirs eventually, but not before just desserts provided here on earth
